Why Targela exists
I knew what I wanted. I just never knew what to do next.
I came to Germany as an international student, and I was carrying four things at once. German classes. My English. Learning how to write an academic paper. Finding a job. None of it was vague, and none of it was optional. I knew exactly what I wanted. But most mornings I sat down and asked the same question anyway: what is my next step?
The wanting was never the hard part. The next step was. That is the question Targela is built around. You describe the goal the way you would say it out loud, and you get back a path you can walk this week.
The mascot is a brick, because that is how a path gets made: one small, plain piece at a time, until you look back and see how far it goes. And Targela would rather tell you a plan won't hold than watch you give up on it in week two.
